New Music: "Motivation" - Jamesthemormon

"Motivation"'s music video by Jamesthemormon, a Utah rapper who is well known in the state, includes many famous faces like the head coach of BYU football, the tattooed Mormon (Al Fox), and traditional Maori "Haka" dancers. These culturally relevant faces to Utah help raise the video to a wider audience while grounding its roots in his home state. The rap in the song is slow and heavy, filling in the intense vibe of a song whose message is parallel to its title: motivation. His first official album dropped April 17th titled "I'm not a rapper," a paradoxical title for an artist whose sound seems to fall near hip-hop. His social medias are as follows:

New Music: "Suffocated" - liZa

liZa (Lee-za), a female R&B artist whose light, melodic tone is demonstrated in "Just Chill," released her next single "Suffocated" also produced by Vincent Basil. It is airy and filled with soothing beats that compliment her beautifully rich R&B tone. Her personal, emotional side surfaced in "Suffocated," as she speaks about being metaphorically suffocated by love derived from personal experience. The Toronto native has grown into songwriting from her love of poetry at a young age and hopes to continue to create genuine narratives through her R&B voice in the industry. New Music: "SheDGAF" - Broderick Batts

Florida rapper Broderick Batts has returned with his new single "SheDGAF" following his 2015 EP titled 2001 Odyssey. His sound is a mix of R&B smoothness and filthy rap, filled with the typical themes of parties and girls. It is The Weeknd meets Drake; the chill sound of Batts is displayed in "SheDGAF," as the single creates the perfect vibe for a put-your-feet-up-and-blaze night. Batts is part of the record label TEN Music Group whose history of blending genres will serve well to the R&B/hip-hop style that Batts is akin to. Look for more soon from the developing artist as he continues to climb the popularizing ladder mixing these two music genres.
